As a DS4Y delivery organization for New Brunswick, CyberNB will connect 50 eligible youth with industry partners for paid internships across the province beginning in August 2020.
DS4Y is an initiative from Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) that provides opportunities for youth to gain valuable training and work experience needed for today’s digital economy.
DS4Y was designed to provide underemployed or unemployed university and college graduates with on-the-job experience and career advancement. It is part of the Government of Canada’s Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS), which aims to provide more flexible employment services and enhanced support to help all young Canadians.
Must be a Permanent Resident or Citizen of New Brunswick
Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume to email@example.com and stay tuned for job postings below.
Eligible organizations will receive $30,000 in funding from ISED to hire interns as part of the DS4Y program. Funding contributes to wages and training costs associated with providing post-secondary graduates with professional experience and meaningful opportunities to learn.
More information about becoming an employer under this program can be found in the DS4Y Employer Guide.
Companies interested in hiring an intern are asked to contact CyberNB’s Digital Talent Specialist, Jenn Peck, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
